Today we went out to the Cafe in the village, our little ones really enjoyed their milk and tea cake while the grown ups had a cup of tea. We met lots of people, placed our order and paid for our snacks.
This week we had a shuffle around of the furniture in our playroom. We now have an even bigger play space in the middle and more of the boxes are accessible to our youngest children. Everyone is enjoying it so far.
Wishing all our Dad's a Happy Father's Day, we can now show off our special chocolate bark creations. Everyone enjoyed picking the toppings that they thought their dad would enjoy the most.
We built our own sensory rock pool in the garden, we used rocks, fake plants, plastic animals, plastic bags, sponges, shells, fossils, driftwood, sand, squidgy animals and then filled it with water.
The weather has been really warm lately, here are just some of the things we have been getting up to.
We went pond dipping at a local nature garden. We spotted lots of frogs in the pond and found ramshorn snails, pond snails, water louse, pond skaters and tadpoles. We used our containers to get a really close look at the creatures we found before letting them go. We also enjoyed a sunny picnic.
