We started our half-term with a fun games morning testing out our new football table. Then we headed out for the first visit in our Captain Cook trail where we went in search of the grave of James Cook Snr (Captain Cook's Dad) buried in Marske. Following this we had some fun on the beach, playing games and enjoying the creepy misty weather. We spent a day visiting the woods, we found lots of signs of autumn and visited the den we built in the summer. It was still standing and still sturdy - we were all very impressed. We added more branches and started weaving smaller twigs and leaves through the den to make the walls solid. We are hoping to go back and visit our den again in the winter to see how it stands up to the weather. To end the week we had great fun visiting the Yorkshire Wildflife park where we saw 'lions & tigers & bears'. The special spooky Halloween scenes were lots of fun and we loved watching all the animals.
