We started our Asia week by creating some stunning oriental cherry blossom pictures and then turning them into lanterns. We looked carefully at some peacock feathers and then painted the tail on a beautiful Indian peacock painting, and finished our arty day by colouring some Asian 'dress up' dolls from Japan, China, Burma and Mongolia We had lots of fun dressing up in our Chinese costumes and dancing to different Asian music, we also enjoyed a tea party just like Mulan. We had an Indian curry night, where we tried chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, samosas, rice, naan breads and popadoms - followed by some birthday cupcakes. The little one's favourite craft of the week was making some 'Mulan inspired' lotus flower hair clips. We think they look beautiful. Comments are closed.
